The boys track team finished 5th out of 11 teams at a very competitive OAA Blue/Gold Championship meet on Thursday at Berkley. While the Ravens could not match the speed of Oak Park or the depth of Farmington, there were many standout performances. Senior Isaiah Cassell Mahr was the runner up in the discus with a throw of 134' 2" and also finished 3rd in the shot put with a personal best of 43' 8". Junior Blake Vier finished 2nd in the 110m hurdles in a time of 16.35, just 0.003 seconds shy of 1st place. Freshman Sebastian Ramirez shaved over 16 seconds off his personal best in the 1600m to finish 5th in 4:43.8, then followed with a 4th place finish in the 3200m.
