WALLED LAKE NORTHERN HIGH SCHOOL: 32
The Ravens held on for a 34-32 win in the season opener for both teams. In a competitive game until the end the Ravens got a stop as the buzzer sounded to secure the victory. Overall it was a good team win as five Ravens made their varsity debut. Sarah Soraghan lead the way with 11 points, while Elinor Kochanski and Lexi Romesburg each chipped in with 6 points. Kira Vance added 4 points and 7 rebounds. Sarah Ammon and Kristin Leman did a great job on the defensive end the entire game.
The Ravens next game is Friday at home against Farmington.
