First and foremost, thank you to everyone for your outstanding effort, flexibility, and attention to detail throughout this 1st week of Fall sports.  As a result, we were able to register many student athletes and have a successful week of practice.  The enthusiasm of our athletes and coaches is extremely refreshing. Screening surveys, temperature checks, mask wearing, and social distancing will continue to be our foundation for safe practice and play.  

With that being said, we received the news Friday that Football will be postponed until Spring 2021. We feel for our Football coaches and student athletes, as they have worked extremely hard in preparation for this Fall.  While there are many details to be discussed, we do know that the MHSAA is committed to providing this opportunity to our football players and coaches this Spring, an opportunity they overwhelmingly have earned.

As of now, all other Fall sports are set to proceed with specific playing details on soccer, volleyball, and swim to be shared with Athletic Departments next week (by August 20th).  Please click on the following link to view the MHSAA release: (link)
