Biography:
This is my 4th year coaching soccer at Royal Oak High School. Coaching soccer began, fifteen years ago, as a volunteer coach for my 4-year-old daughter’s team in St Clair Shores. I coached in the St Clair Shores Youth Soccer Program for six years. As my daughter's soccer career advanced, I joined on as an assistant in the Grosse Pointe Soccer Association for three years. Followed by, being an assistant with the St Clair Shores Select Soccer Club for two years.
I have also been a high school basketball coach for the past nine years. These two sports share a lot in common, both in defensive and offensive conditioning, strategies and skill sets.
Coaching Philosophy:
Being a coach is more than practices and games, which is why I am a substitute teacher in the Royal Oak school district. Coaching includes mentoring student-athletes to achieve in both athletics and academics.
