On Tuesday we traveled to North Farmington.

Man of the Meet (NF) #1: Senior Johnny McKellar. McKellar had himself a meet! He went 4 for 4 on best times. He had drops in the 50 Back (1.14), 100 Free (.26), 100 Back (1.43) and 100 Free Relay Split (.40).

Man of the Meet (NF) #2: Senior Charlie Gilreath. Charlie swam light out on Tuesday and went 3 for 3 with best times. Charlie had drops in the 50 Free (1.5), 100 Free (1.21), and 100 Free Relay Split (1.2).

Man of the Meet (NF) #3: Sophomore Arthur Harris. Arthur crushed it on Tuesday. He went 4 for 4 on bests. He had drops in the 50 Back (1.38), 50 Free (.35), 100 Back (4.49), and 100 Free (3.7).

On Saturday we visited Utica Ford. We had a tri meet with Ford and Grand Rapids Union. The coaches of Ford and GR Union both swam for us here in RO.

Man of the Meet #1: Senior Aeriq Abu Azrine. Aeriq had a great showing on Saturday. Had two 1^st place finishes in the Medley Relay and the 50 Free. Nice time drops in the 50 Breast (1.4), 50 Free (.31), and the 100 Breast (1.54).

Man of the Meet #2: Sophomore Liam Lawson. At Utica Ford on Saturday, Liam had nice time drops in the 50 Free (.76) and the 100 Back (1.32). Working hard and getting better.

Man of the Meet #3: Freshman Brady O'Dell. On Saturday, Brady had two impressive time drops. Brady dropped 2.7 seconds in his 50 Fly. He also had a monster time drop in 55 second the 500 Free.

Man of the Week #1: Sophomore Kallan Harmsen. Kallan had a week. He had bests in the 50 (2.1 drop) and 100 Free (1.61) at both of our meets this week. He also earned legend status for his get out swim at Friday's practice!

Man of the Week #2: Sophomore Joey Cioffi. On Tuesday he had hige time drops in the 200 IM (7.56) and 100 Free (5.01). He followed that up on Saturday with another big drop in the 100 Breast (5.3).

Man of the Week #3: Sophomore Uriah Rogers. At both meets this week he had 2 bests in diving and increased his score by 25.55! points. In the pool he also had monster time drops in the 50 Back (3.48) and 100 Free (7.04).

On Thursday we will host Groves for our parent night.

Man of the Meet (Ferndale/Southfield A&T) #1: Junior London Murray. London had two monster time drops on Tuesday in the 200 Free (5.02) and the 500 Free (10.14). Big year coming up for Big Murray!

Man of the Meet (Ferndale/Southfield A&T) #2: Sophomore Will Bofferding. Will had two individual 1^st place finishes on Tuesday in the 200 IM and 100 Fly. He then followed that up with 3 drops on Thursday in the 50 Back (1.82), 50 Free (1.84), and the 100 Free (3.58).

On Thursday we traveled to Rochester for an OAA White divisional meet.

Dylan Dowdell had our lone first place finish. His diving score was a lifetime best. This score moved him up to #5 in our Top 10 list for diving.

Man of the Meet (Rochester) #1: Senior Ben Pannecouck. Ben was on fire! On Thursday, he had drops in three events: 50 Fly (.06), 50 Free (5.19), and 100 Free (4.61). Big Senior year on tap for Pannecouck!

Man of the Meet (Rochester) #2: Sophomore James Walker. James had three drops on Thursday! He dropped time in the 50 Fly (.07), 50 Free (1.17), and the 100 Free (4.69). Hard work is paying off for Walker!

Man of the Meet (Rochester) #3: Junior Aidan Hall. On Thursday Aidan impressive drops in the 50 Free (.57) and the 100 Free (4.02). He is always one of the first people at the pool every day and always looking at how to get better!

Man of the Week #1: Senior Dylan Dowdell. Dowdell had a week. Two first place finishes in diving. Two time drops in the 50 Fly. New lifetime best diving score. Moving up to #5 in our Top 10 list for diving. Not a bad week!

Man of the Week #2: Sophomore Sam Humphrey. Sam went after it this week. During the week he had time drops in the 200 IM (3.84), and two drops in the 100 Fly (2.05). Hard worker in the pool and in the classroom!

Man of the Week #3: Freshman Mason Birch. First year Mason has been making his presence known. Hard working and coachable. Mason had time drops this week in the 50 Free (.64), 100 Free (.52), and 100 Back (.64).

Looking forward to getting in some quality training over the holiday.

Man of the Meet (Avondale/Waterford) #1: Senior Gavin Cavell. Gavin started his Senior year with a statement! Four 1^st place finishes in the meet. Nice time drops in the 50 Free (1.17) and 50 Breast (1.52). His swims in the 50 Free and 100 Breast were Oakland County qualifying times.

Man of the Meet (Avondale/Waterford) #2: Freshman Hudson Murray. Hudson started his high school swimming career off strong. He had big time drops in both the 50 Free (3.20) and 100 Free (4.78). Hard worker in practice!

Man of the Week #1: Junior Beckett Sipes. This state qualifier for RO Cross Country is also a speedster in the water. Crushing it in training and in competition. Had an awesome opening 200 Free and a monster drop in the 100 Free on Thursday (4.71).

Man of the Week #2: Sophomore Sam Gembis. Sam’s first high school meet on Thursday was quick! He had impressive drops in both his 50 Free (3.43) and 100 Free (4.22). Super coachable in training!

On Saturday we traveled to the Brother Rice – Warrior Relays.

We finished 6^th of 8 teams. We were able to compete against four Top Ten teams in the state. The boys did great with hard racing all day.

Next week we will host Ferndale and Southfield A&T on Tuesday.

On Thursday we will travel to Rochester to start our OAA divisional season.
