Last Saturday we took a road trip to Grand Rapids.

The Grand Rapids Union coach was a former Dondero swimmer (Class of 1995). We were joined by Utica Ford. Their coach was a former Royal Oak swimmer (Class of 2005).

Man of the Meet #1 (Utica Ford / Grand Rapids Union): Junior Jacob Fowler. Last Saturday Jacob had nice time drops in the 50 Free (.30) and the 100 Breast (.97) in Grand Rapids.

Man of the Meet #2 (Utica Ford / Grand Rapids Union): Freshman Liam Lawson. On Saturday, Liam had had time drops in both the 50 Free (.26) and the 100 Free (.13) when we visited the west side of the state.

On Thursday we traveled to Rochester Stoney Creek. It was our annual PINK OUT meet.

Man of the Meet #1 (Stoney Creek): Senior Logan Ball. Logan had nice time drops in the 50 Free (.30) and 100 Free (.38) on Thursday at Stoney Creek.

Man of the Meet #2 (Stoney Creek): Senior Andres Jaime. On Thursday at Stoney Creek Andres had drops in both the 100 Free (.76) and the 500 Free (.60).

Man of the Week #1: Senior Max Podmokly. Always looking to get faster! In the last 6 days Max has dropped time in the 100 Free (2.51), 50 Back (.19), and the 100 Back (.66).

Man of the Week #2: Freshman Sam Humphrey. Has been working hard in the water! On Thursday at Stoney Creek, he had an impressive drop in his 200 Free (3.2).

Next week we have two home meets.

Thursday, January 23rd we are hosting Oxford for our PARENT NIGHT

Friday, January 24^th we are hosting a Quad meet with Brother Rice, Dexter, and Fenton.

Man of the Meet #1 (North Farmington): Senior Donielle Bell. Donielle had two huge time drops in the 50 Free (6.22) and 100 Free (10.79) on Tuesday against North Farmington.

Man of the Meet #2 (North Farmington): Freshman Arthur Harris. On Tuesday Arthur had drops in the 50 Back (2.89), 50 Free (4.62), and the 100 Free (14.05).

Man of the Meet #3 (North Farmington): Freshman Will Bofferding. Will had 4 first place finishes on Tuesday. He was first in the 200 IM, 100 Fly, 200 Free Relay, and the 400 Free Relay.

On Thursday we traveled to Bloomfield Hills

First Place:

Diving - Dylan Dowdell

Nolan Kaiser picked up a MISCA qualifying time in the 100 Free and 100 Fly. He also got a qualifying time for the Oakland County Championships in the 100 Free.

Man of the Meet #1 (Bloomfield Hills): Senior Nolan Till. On Thursday, Nolan had a drop in the 50 Free (.47) and a monster drop in the 500 Free (42.42)

Man of the Meet #2 (Bloomfield Hills): Sophomore Vaughn Selden. He has been stepping up in his training. Had a nice drop in the 100 Free (4.97) on Thursday.

Man of the Meet #3 (Bloomfield Hills): Freshman James Walker. James has been on fire! On Thursday he had drops in the 50 Free (.18) and 100 Free (9.64)

Man of the Week #1: Junior Ben Pannecouck. He has really turned it up in training. This week he had bests in the 200 IM (14.35) and 100 Fly (4.2)

Man of the Week #2: Sophomore Beckett Sipes. Beckett is hitting his stride. This week he has bests in the 100 Back (1.11), 50 Free (1.87), and 100 Free (10.71)

Man of the Week #3: Freshman Sebastian Beljak. Sebastian has been working hard and is always looking to get better. This week he had 2 drops in the 100 Breast (3.14)

Next week we will travel to Stoney Creek on Thursday for our annual PINK OUT meet.

On December 17th, we hosted Avondale and Southfield A&T.

It was also our annual Toys for Tots meet. This year it was hosted by Senior Nolan Kaiser. We were able to collect a lot of toys for boys and girls.

On December 19th, we traveled to Groves to take on the defending state champion.

Swan very well. Dylan Dowdell captured 1st place in diving.

Man of the Meet #1 - (Avondale) Senior Nolan Kaiser. Two individual 1st place finishes. Drops in the 50 Free (.50) MISCA cut and 100 Free (.73).

Man of the Meet #2- (Avondale) Freshman Henry Harrie. On Tuesday he had drops in the 50 Free (3.25) and a MONSTER drop in the 100 Free (9.26)!

Man of the Meet #1 (Southfield A&T) Sophomore Aaron Hildebrandt. Aaron had great time drops in the 50 Free (1.55) and 100 Free (7.05) on Tuesday!

Man of the Meet #2- (Southfield A&T) Freshman Emerson Murphy. On Tuesday he had drop in the 50 Free (.24)! He really has been attacking his training!

Man of the Meet #1 - (Groves) Junior Aeriq Abu Azrine. Two huge drops on Thursday in the 50 Free (2.68) and the 100 Breast (4.97)!

Man of the Meet #2 - (Groves) Freshman Cosmo Berent. Two great drops on Thursday in the 50 Free (.42) and the 100 Breast (2.19)!

Man of the Week #1 Junior Dylan Dowdell Dylan had three 1st place finishes this week in diving. His score this week put him into our Top 10 Club!

Man of the Week #2 Freshman Cervantes Franks 4 individual swims this week 4 individual best times TUES had 1.44 drop in 50 Free and 12.70 drop in 100 Free. On THUR he had another drop in the 50 Free (.89) and 100 Free (.79)

We hosted our annual Alumni Meet on DEC 27. Always great to see Alumni come back to pool!
