At home in Raven’s Park yesterday afternoon, the Boys Junior Varsity-B soccer team beat the Birmingham Groves Falcons 1 – 0.  Leading the team to victory was the outstanding team defense and the stellar goal keeping of Nathan Lukaszek and Ryan Fishwild.   The lone goal scored in the match was by Tristan Fillmore, who converted a penalty kick.  The final fifteen minutes of the match was played one-man short, as the Ravens held back the offensive challenges of the Falcons. Max Klonke, Kai Sotomayor, Mattis Moellenhoff and Brady Walsh keyed a strong attacking defensive finish to the match.

The Raven Junior Varsity B, boys team is at home again for their next match today, Thursday, September 19th, against the Walled Lake Central Vikings, kick-off for this match-up will be 5:00.
