Boys Varsity Track & Field Falls to Ferndale and OP

The Royal Oak boys track & field team could not overcome the talented sprinters of Ferndale and Oak Park, dropping a pair of OAA contests to their southeast Oakland County neighbors. Oak Park emerged with a 76-51 victory, while Ferndale narrowly topped the Ravens 67-61.

Royal Oak's Drew Meinecke recorded a personal best in winning the 1600m in a time 4:41.0. Alex Breen also scored a 1st place finish, soaring to 6' 2" in winning the high jump.
