After a tough battle with Stony Creek (#9 in MHSAA D1 preseason rankings) to open the season, the Royal Oak boys cross country team picked up their first win of the season against Rochester.  Weston Schroeder led the way for the Ravens, finishing first in 17:42.6.  Rounding out the scoring for Royal Oak was Julio Jaime (3rd, 17:46.4), Brandon Canty (4th, 18:13.7), Sebastian Ramirez (5th, 18:15.8), and Connor Myatt (6th, 18:20.3).  Complete results are available at https://www.athletic.net/CrossCountry/meet/178817/results/731179.
