WEST BLOOMFIELD HIGH: 31
The Ravens picked up a huge 32-31 win over West Bloomfield on Friday night handing the Lakers their first league loss on the season. The Ravens were locked in on the defensive end the entire night with junior Lexi Romesburg leading the way. A trio of centers Kira Vance (6 points, 7 rebounds), Quinn Blackwell and Reagan Blackwell helped to control the paint. A basket from Reagan Blackwell in the fourth quarter was important to helping secure the win. Sarah Soraghan was a floor leader the entire night scoring 11 points, distributing 5 assists while grabbing 7 rebounds and picking up 2 steals. Sarah Ammon led the team in rebounding grabbing 9 boards while also collecting 5 points. Senior captain Elinor Kochanski had a great all around game while adding 4 points.
With the win the Ravens are now 6-4 overall and 2-3 in the OAA Red.
West Bloomfield was led by Myonna Hooper who had 16 points. The Lakers are 7-3 overall and 4-1 in the OAA Red.
