In their first match this week, the Boys Junior Varsity-B soccer team beat the Birmingham Groves Falcons

3 – 2.  Joe Brody scored his first two high school goals.  Mark Say finished off the scoring for the Ravens with his fourth goal of the season.  Mid-fielders, Zack Morello, Cohen Dancha and Steven Sulaiman, kept pressure on the Falcon players, collecting turn-overs and pushing the ball to the Raven forwards.   

Drew Bates, Jacob Sandzik, and Jaren Taylor lead the defense, locking down the high-powered Falcons offense.   Tending the Ravens goal was split between Parker Lassner and Max Podmokly.

The JvB boys will play their next match on the road against the Rochester Falcons on Wednesday, September 22^nd.  The Ravens will be focused on winning a second Match, on the road.  Kick-off for this match-up is set for 5:00 in Rochester.
