The depth of the boys track team proved to be too much for Southfield A&T as the Ravens closed out the regular season with a victory.  The day started and ended with key wins in relays.  The 4 x 800m relay team of Ben Sneary, Matthew Webb, Max Zgoda, and Harrison Fobare gradually pulled away from the Warriors, finishing with a time of 9:24.8.  The meet's final event, the 4 x 400m relay, was close the entire way, with anchor Brandon Canty holding on for the win.  Teammates Weston  Schroeder, Michael Wasniewski, and Bryan Hanes battled through their legs to set the stage for the hard fought victory.  

Other key contributions for the Ravens came from sweeps in the 800m (1st Weston Schroeder, 2nd Bryan Hanes, 3rd Sebastian Ramirez), 1600m (1st Sebastian Ramirez, 2nd Erik Olsen, 3rd Ruark Wicka), and 3200m (1st Danny Leahy, 2nd Owen Frassetto, 3rd Danny Gartner).

The Ravens finished the OAA Gold dual meet season with a 4-0 record.  Next up for Royal Oak is the Mark Carpenter Invitational on Saturday morning at Dearborn Divine Child.
