The Royal Oak Ravens girls XC team defeated cross town rival Berkley High 19-44. Leading the way for the Ravens was Annabelle Knott winning the race with a season's best time of 21:54.6. Also helping defeat the Bears were Annabel Flora (3rd) 23:37.7, Jayne Mitroff (4th) 22:40.7, Natalie Forsyth (5th) 22:44.8, Corinne DiFalco (6th) 23:03. Seniors Knott and Mitroff raced for the final time at ROHS, as did Camden Kochis, Chloe Miller, Emma Forsyth, Hava Szarafinski, Katelyn Hudson, and Evie Pinho. They, along with Nicloe Morehouse, will be missed, and we thank them for their hard work, determination, and leadership. Next up for the top 7 Ravens is the MHSAA Pre-Regional at Lake St. Clair Metropark on Wednesday, October 21st, while the rest of the squad finishes at the OAA White Invitational at Hess Hathaway Park in Waterford on Saturday, October 24th.
