Boys Cross Country Finishes 8th at Hansons Invitational

The Royal Oak boys cross country team finished 8th out of 27 teams at the Hansons Invitational on Saturday. Senior Kemp Winkler led the Ravens (30th,17:51.5), followed by juniors Ruark Wicka (33rd, 17:59.2) and Collin Toggweiler (43rd, 18:10.0). Julio Jaime (63rd, 18:30.5) and Brandon Canty (72nd, 18:42.1) rounded out the scoring for Royal Oak. The next competition for the Ravens is the 60th Annual Oakland County Championships at Kensington Metropark on Saturday. The girls varsity race is at 10:00 am, followed by the boys varsity race at 10:30 am.
